What is your warranty?
Boss Hammer Company provides a limited one year warranty from date of purchase against workmanship and manufacturer defects. We do not warranty normal wear and tear or miss-use of our products. Our hammer is designed for driving and pulling unhardened common nails only. Any sign of demolition, concrete work, side pulling, prying, etc., will not be covered.
If a claim is processed, the buyer is responsible for providing Boss Hammer Co. with the hammer. If the claim is for a broken handle, the handle will be replaced on the original head. Warranty policies are subject to change.
Custom engraving or charges relating to custom engraving are non-refundable.
All warranty claims are at the discretion of Boss Hammer Co. and misuse of this policy will result in ineligibility for future claims.
When should I file a claim?
Our hammers are hand picked from the finest materials and thoroughly inspected before they are shipped to your door. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your hammer, please reach out to us so we can work to resolve the issue. Your satisfaction is important to us. All inquiries will be dealt on a case by case basis.
How do I make a claim?
All warranty claims must be reported to customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org for return authorization and account evaluation.
How do returns work?
All return requests must be processed through Boss Hammer Customer Service. Email (email@example.com) or call us (724-HAMMERS) to begin a return claim. We only accept returns on items that are new and unused. All related shipping costs are non refundable and restocking fees may apply.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. All decisions involving refunds are at the discretion of Boss Hammmer Co.
What happens if I'm approved for a refund?
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
My refund still hasn't arrived!
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Can I return Sale items?
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Can I exchange my purchase?
We only replace items if they are defective due to workmanship or material defect. See our Warranty Policy for exchanges on damaged or defective items. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at email@example.com for account and item evaluation. Items exchanged must be in new and unused condition. The buyer is responsible for all associated shipping and restocking costs. Once we receive your item, we will evaluate your account and item to determine eligibility for exchange. Do you ship overseas?
Currently we are shipping to Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
Do I pay for shipping?
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Why haven't I received my exchange?
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Should I purchase shipping insurance?
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
How long will the markings last on the handle?
The lines and numbers are burned three times over into all our hickory handles for lasting durability. If properly used the markings will last the life of the wooden handle.
How long will the handles last?
Our handles are made of premium American hickory sourced from manufacturers with over 100 years of experience. With proper care and use our hammers will serve as a nice retirment trophy.
Do not leave the handle exposed to extreme weather or heat. Oil the handle regularly and as needed.
